Made to stop the scroll

Real adverts for real brands, each with the brief behind it, what we made and what the creative set out to do. Every one starts as a blank canvas.

01 PersonalisedSong / Client work

Still searching for the perfect gift?

Claymation video / Meta / 4:5 and 9:16

The brief
Reach Christmas shoppers who are stuck for a meaningful gift, and make a personalised song feel like the obvious answer. Get the proof points across fast: written and recorded in 48 hours, a free lyric sheet with every song, added to Spotify, and strong Trustpilot reviews.
What we made
A stop-motion claymation story set in a snowy Christmas market. A lost-looking shopper is stopped in his tracks by the line “Flowers fade, music lasts forever”, then every key benefit lands as a beat in the story. Burned-in captions so it works with the sound off, and an end card with one clear offer.
The goal
Stop gift shoppers mid-scroll with a story they want to watch to the end, and make a personalised song feel like the answer to “what do I get them?”, with every reason to buy landing before the end card.

02 Luff / Client work

Sleep better, starting tonight

Video ad / 30 seconds / 4:5 and 16:9

The brief
Introduce the Luff range in one short film: bamboo pillows, SilverLining bamboo silk bedding and the Prestige Hybrid Bamboo Mattress. Build trust quickly with press features and customer reviews, and take the risk out of buying.
What we made
A calm, premium product film in Luff purple. Each product gets its own moment, then press logos and the review score build confidence, followed by the reasons to buy now: a 200-night sleep trial, free UK delivery and 10% of profits to homeless charities. It closes on “Sleep better, starting tonight.”
The goal
Make a premium sleep brand feel calm and trustworthy in 30 seconds: give each product its own moment, then answer every reason to hesitate before the viewer has to ask.

03 PDC / Client work

Welcome to the PDC Monopoly board game

Launch promo / 45 seconds / 4:5

The brief
Launch the officially licensed PDC Monopoly board game to darts fans and drive pre-orders, exclusively through the PDC store.
What we made
A 45-second launch film that sweeps across the darts-themed board and turns the game into a player’s career: start on the practice board, battle through Q School, take on the tour, collect the events and chase the titles, then set your sights on the Sid Waddell Trophy. It ends on one clear call to action: pre-order now, exclusively at PDCstore.com.
The goal
Make darts fans feel the game is built around their sport, not just branded with it, and turn that excitement into a pre-order at PDCstore.com.
Advert for Ember and Vine restaurant with the headline Give your oven the night off

04 Ember & Vine / Concept / Fictional brand

Give your oven the night off

Static ad / Meta / 4:5

The brief
Fill a restaurant on the quiet nights of the week without discounting the menu.
What we made
A big, warm food shot of a burger and cocktail, with one idea aimed squarely at midweek: give your oven the night off. A clear Book a table button links straight to bookings.
The goal
Make a midweek dinner out feel like an easy treat, with a food shot good enough to stop the scroll on its own. A concept piece for a fictional brand, made to show our thinking. It did not run as a live campaign.

05 Snuggle Up Stories / Client work

A bedtime story comes to life

Video ad / 5 seconds / 9:16

The brief
Show, in a few seconds, the magic of a children’s storybook at bedtime and make parents stop scrolling.
What we made
A photoreal bedroom at night with fairy lights and a soft lamp. The open book sits on the bedside table, and its characters rise up off the page as the camera moves in.
The goal
Capture the magic of bedtime in five seconds, so parents stop and picture reading it with their own child.
Advert for Third Helping dessert bar with the headline Sorry, abs

06 Third Helping / Client work

Sorry, abs

Static ad / Meta / 4:5

The brief
Get a late-night dessert bar’s customers ordering direct instead of through delivery apps.
What we made
A tongue-in-cheek headline over an indulgent close-up, a sticker-style logo and an Order now badge that points people to order direct.
The goal
Make people laugh and crave at the same time, so ordering direct feels like the obvious next step.

07 Quality Systems Consultancy / Client work

Is your business compliant?

Animated explainer / 28 seconds / 4:5

The brief
Make health, safety and quality compliance feel less daunting for business owners, show the full range of support in under 30 seconds, and turn interest into booked consultations.
What we made
A friendly illustrated safety officer walks through each service under bold yellow headings: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 support, health and safety audits, risk assessments, first aid and fire training, and the monthly membership scheme. It ends on a free consultation offer with the phone number and website on screen.
The goal
Turn a dry, daunting subject into something friendly and clear, so business owners see QSC as the easy first call.
Pest control advert with the headline Stop rats before they stop you

08 Angus Scotland / Client work

Stop rats before they stop you

Static ad / Meta / 4:5

The brief
Win local rat jobs by turning a worry into an urgent, easy next step.
What we made
A close-up of a rat chewing through a cable, a blunt headline, the 5.0 Google rating and same-week visits as reassurance, and a single Book a visit button.
The goal
Create urgency without scaremongering, and make booking a visit feel quick, local and safe.
Advert for Fringe Theory hair salon with the headline Break up with your box dye

09 Fringe Theory / Client work

Break up with your box dye

Static ad / Meta / 4:5

The brief
Fill a salon’s quiet midweek chairs by promoting the service with the best margin.
What we made
A product-led shot with a breakup line aimed at people who colour their hair at home, and a Book a restyle button.
The goal
Speak straight to people who colour their hair at home, with a line that makes them smile, and make booking a restyle feel like a fresh start.
Pest control advert with the headline We won't sting you on price

10 Angus Scotland / Client work

We won’t sting you on price

Static ad / Meta / 4:5

The brief
Promote fixed-price wasp nest removal in peak season, when people want it sorted the same day.
What we made
A wasp in sharp close-up, a pun that doubles as the promise of fixed prices, the 5.0 Google rating, same-day visits and a Book a visit button.
The goal
Use a pun people remember to make the fixed-price promise stick, so they know exactly who to call when they find a nest.
